Canine Good Citizen Workshop
The Canine Good Citizen Workshop is to prepare you for
certification as a
CGC.
It is also a foundational skill set in obtaining certification as a
registered Therapy Dog.
Prerequisites to attend the Canine Good Citizen are that your dog be able to sit and down on command, come on a
long line or leash, walk on a loose leash, be sociable around other dogs (we will work on
attention and control) and down stay on leash. As the owner we ask that you be familiar
with reward based training. If any of the above requirements are in question please set up
an evaluation (no charge) to answer any questions.

Rally
Come join Lacy Browning, for a fun adventure into the sport of
Rally. Rally is a sport where handler and dog navigate a course of signs
together that demonstrate various heeling and other training exercises. Unlike
formal obedience, handlers are allowed to use their voice during the course to
encourage their dog. This sport is open to purebreds and All American (mixed
breeds ) dogs. It is an ideal venue for dogs/handlers who are not agility
candidates and those who may wish to compete in Freestyle (dancing with your
dog). In the initial class Lacy will focus on teaching heeling footwork,
training exercises and signs for beginning Rally competition.
