Advanced Relational Training

The level of relational and social intelligence of our dogs is amazing. In our new ART (Advanced Relational Training) Class, we will explore and unlock the full potential of this canine intelligence and discover one of the most beneficial relationships we can have in our lives. The personal rewards you will experience as a result of your participation in this class will astound you.

What will you discover in this class?
  • Your dog's unique personality and mindset through fun and interactive games developed by Dr. Brian Hare of the Canine Cognition Center at Duke University.
  • An ongoing path to a long lasting and ever growing relationship with your canine and them with you.
  • A communication style that best suits your particular canine/human relationship.
  • A healthy life physically, emotionally, and mentally.
  • A way to have a meaningful, fun, and mutually beneficial relationship with your canine.

This new course is a culmination of years of research, experience, and development. Recent advances in canine cognition has given us a unique and profound view of our canine companion's capacity to relate to us as humans. At hearts and Paws, we have endeavored to incorporate these discoveries into our training methodology. One basic discovery is dogs have the same emotions as we do. We abandoned the use of training techniques over a quarter of a century ago which tear down these emotional bonds through fear rather than build their strength through love and trust.  We are very excited about this next evolution in canine training and know you and your canine companion will greatly benefit from participation.
