The relationship of a child with their dog can teach so much about respect, discipline, communication, and responsibility. Hearts and Paws Club Pup Kids Camps create an atmosphere to: - strengthen the relationship between the child and their dog.
- instruct how the dog’s mind perceives the world physically, mentally, and emotionally.
- impart skills necessary to work with dogs as a serious hobby or potential career.
- encourage creativity, problem solving, and teamwork through group projects and games.
Activities are held in indoor, air-conditioned classrooms as well as the spacious, outdoor agility field.
We have camps designed for campers from age 6 - 9 years and 9 - 16 years old. Teams are put together according to age with appropriate challenges.
There is a limit of 16 dog/handler teams with a ratio of 1 counselor per 5 participants.
Come join us for Club Pup Camps (and Agility classes) at the Austin Vineyard Church facility at 13208 Morris Road, off of Anderson Mill Road. Come see the facility, the new field, and what we've got going on for our camps for Summer 2012.
